- A Surface USB-C Travel Hub Black (1E4-00005) or a Surface Dock 2 is required to image the Surface Pro for eT4L
- Advanced Exchange warranty (4 years), has been arranged with Microsoft & ASI. For confirmed hardware faults, Microsoft will send a permanent replacement device and the school will return the faulty unit. All data will be wiped from the returned unit. To facilitate this replacement warranty, it is essential that the device has not been engraved

Building the Surface Pro via eT4L:
- Connect the Surface Pro to either the Surface Dock or the specific USB Ethernet Adaptor listed above
- Connect the Ethernet port to a known-working network outlet with a known-working Ethernet cable
- Hold down the Volume Down button, press the Power button once. When the Boot menu appears, release Volume Down.
- Press Enter when prompted to start the network boot service
- Continue the build process as with other Windows devices.
